Design Guidelines for Webapps

Room 32, 3rd floor

21st November, 11:30-12:00

While building webapps, we tend to tie our design decisions to frameworks and let our development cycle be influenced by them. Here, we'll discuss how we can reduce some of those issues by applying simple solutions.

Dan Nicolici

I am a software developer who understands programming as something done by the people for the people. That's why I am dedicated to software clarity and ease of use.

I've worked most of my career building web and distributed systems in various business domains. I enjoy designing and implementing practical solutions and using the proper tools to this end, be they programming languages, frameworks or ready-made products.

I have a strong experience with Java and its ecosystem, but also use other programming languages and platforms like .NET, Python, Scala, Groovy, JavaScript, templating and markup languages. I'm really into Clojure.
